PRBoard

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 20, 2026

Thanks for using PRBoard. These terms are short on purpose — please actually read them.

1. Who we are, and what you're agreeing to

PRBoard (https://prboard.dev) is a personal GitHub pull-request dashboard operated by Yuya Iwabuchi, a solo developer based in Canada ("we", "us", "the operator"). By creating an account or using PRBoard, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. Your account

You sign in to PRBoard with your GitHub account. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your GitHub credentials and any personal access tokens you add secure. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can stop using PRBoard at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account (see Contact below).

3. Plans and billing

PRBoard has two plans:

The active-PR cap is the only difference between the plans.

Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. as Merchant of Record — Polar is the seller of record for your purchase. When you upgrade, you also agree to Polar's Buyer Terms. Billing, tax collection and remittance, receipts, and payment disputes are handled by Polar. You manage your subscription — cancellation, payment method, invoices — through the Polar customer portal.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. You keep Pro until then; nothing is prorated automatically.

Refunds are handled case-by-case: email us (see Contact) and we'll process any refund through Polar. Fees for billing periods that have already elapsed are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise.

4. Fair use ("unlimited" isn't infinite)

Pro removes the product cap on active PRs — that's a product limit, not a physics-defying one. To keep the service fast and affordable for everyone, all accounts (Free and Pro) are subject to reasonable technical and anti-abuse limits: rate limits, sync and fetch ceilings, and storage bounds. These are sized far above what any normal individual use looks like — if you're a person using PRBoard to track your pull requests, you will never notice them.

If an account shows abusive, automated, or grossly disproportionate usage — for example, scripted traffic, syncing at a scale that clearly isn't one person's workflow, or deliberately hammering the service — we may throttle it, and, after notice where practical, suspend it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

Violations can result in suspension or termination without refund.

6. Your data and intellectual property

Your GitHub data is yours. We claim no ownership over your code, your pull requests, or any content synced from GitHub. You grant us only the limited license needed to operate the service: fetching, storing, processing, and displaying your PR metadata back to you.

PRBoard's own software, design, and branding remain ours.

7. Service availability and liability

PRBoard is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind and without an SLA. It's run by one person; we work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time — if we ever discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$10, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site (and the "Last updated" date above will change). Continuing to use PRBoard after changes take effect means you accept them.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the operator's province of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.

10. Contact
